The state health department is now allowing anyone over the age of 6 months of age to receive the H1N1 vaccine. FastER Urgent Care is able to vaccinate all ages so bring the whole family today!

FastER Urgent Care is now able to offer injectable H1N1 to patients ages 6 months-64 years in addition to nasal vaccine for ages 2 years-49 years. We are still only vaccinating children up to 24 years of age and adults that are in the target group. It is expected that the vaccine will soon be made available to a broader range of people. We now have H1N1 Nasal Mist for ages 2yrs- 49yrs, preservative free injectable for ages 6-35months, and trace Thimerisol injectable for ages 4yrs-64yrs. We can not provide for children ages 36-47months with underlying health conditions. We have currently run out of the nasal H1N1 vaccine but still have the injectable version approved for ages 4years and up. Check back here for updated availability.

Begining 11/20/09 we will offer both the nasal flumist for ages 2yrs-49yrs and now the injectable H1N1 vaccine. The injectable version is approved for ages 4 yrs and older and contains only trace amounts of Thimerisol. This particular vaccine is not approved for children under the age of 4 years. We will be administering vaccine only to the target populations as defined by the CDC and the New Jersey Department of Health with the injectable version being given preferably to those unable to receive the nasal version such as those with immunocomprising conditions, diabetes and pregnancy. We have a new but limited supply of the nasal vaccine for the targeted groups; Ages 2yrs-24yrs and 25yrs-49yrs who are the primary caretakers of an infant <6months old or emergency service personnel. As soon as we receive the injectable form we will post it here.
